As policy and information analyst, Gwen is responsible for
communications and outreach for the TechTIPS office and manages
the ‘Pipeline Series’ of seminars and events.
She works with various campus groups to promote educational
seminars, workshops, conferences and other special events
on intellectual property, legal issues on startups, along
with various topics promoting the technology transfer mission
of the university. In addition, she manages the TechTIPS website
and develops newsletters, annual reports, fact sheets and
other collateral marketing materials.
Gwen joined the office in 2002, after over a decade in corporate
communications and investor relations at two startup companies
in the local biotechnology industry. She received her BA in biology
from UC, San Diego.
