Dr. Andreason joined TechTIPS
in 2005 as Senior Licensing Officer. Her career path
has woven through the UC system a number of times, in
different ways. After completing her BA in Chemistry
at UCSD, Grai worked as a research associate in the
department of Neurosciences and later returned to complete
her Ph.D. in the department of Physiology & Pharmacology.
Although her program was at UCSD, her graduate laboratory
was at the Salk Institute, where she worked on regulation
of gene expression. In post-doctoral fellowships, at
the Institut Pasteur (France) and Stanford University
Medical Center, she concentrated in cell biology with
a focus on the interrelation between cellular structure
and function.

was as a senior scientist in the biotechnology industry,
where she worked with teams developing potential products
from the laboratory bench to compatibility with manufacturing
and clinical trials. In 2000, Grai completed her MBA
at UCLA's Anderson School of Management while transitioning
into corporate development and happily remains at the
science/business interface.
