| Prior to joining UCSD TechTIPS, Dr. Denise Lew held
research positions for 10 years at several San Diego
biotech companies. As a scientist, Denise's areas of
expertise are molecular biology, gene therapy and animal
models of cancer and infectious disease. At TechTIPS
she is a senior licensing officer with responsibility
for the inventions originating from faculty in life
sciences research. |
| Denise
earned her B.A. degree in biology in Dallas, and worked
for several years at the Stanford University Department
of Biochemistry. After obtaining her Ph.D. in Biochemistry
from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, she
was awarded an NIH fellowship to pursue her postdoctoral
training at the Salk Institute in La Jolla. |
